Beltane 2011

At day break on the 1st of May twelve Diamond labour crew headed to Calton Hill to clear the site after the Capital’s Beltane Festival. Booked to clear the 2,800m² site in five hours the team completed the task in three and a half hours lead by Diamond’s Senior Crew Chief Keith Montgomery and Labour Crew Chief Donnie MacFadyen leaving the hill picture perfect.

The Beltane Fire Society who organises the event commented “The service the crew provided was exceptional. Diamond Event Services provided an essential clear up service which not only satisfied our needs in terms of restoring a vital public venue to its original state in the city but they also satisfied the requirements of The City of Edinburgh Council.”

Diamond’s office team worked closely with the event’s new producer Sean O’Hare to establish, develop and support the needs of the event within it’s budgets.

“As the new producer of the Beltane Fire Festival I was impressed by Diamond’s attention to detail in the development of our event. They fully understand the nature of the event and also focused on the issues which were important to our events needs. I found the team to be welcoming, supportive and friendly.

“Diamond is a professional and vibrant company who understands the production needs of events and cultural organisations. They stand out in terms of getting the job done and make my life as a Festival Manager much easier knowing we had a reliable company on site.”

Our work with Beltane marks the start of Diamond’s Summer season which looks to be the company’s busiest on record.
