Following the success of the inaugural show last year, Diamond Event Services are happy to announce that we have secured a stand at The Main Event at the SECC on Thursday 11th March. We look forward to see everyone there. We are launching a number of new services that we hope will be of benefit to our existing clients and attract business from those who have not yet had the Diamond experience.
The Main Event 2010 – Crew Offer
A number of our regular crew will be in attendance during the afternoon and will be helping with the load-out. If you need help building or dismantling your stand at the event we would be happy to assist.
We are offering a special ‘show rate’ for this year. If you require crew please get in touch quoting Promo Code: ME10 and we will provide you with a quote to suit your requirements.
Diamond Crew members have again been on hand to support Carnival Chaos in a number of high profile events.
A regular client of Diamond Event Services, Carnival Chaos has an impressive event portfolio including high quality production for weddings, corporate and private events.
After working with Diamond support crew during the pipe and drape rig and de-rig at the Sheraton Hotel recently, Kirsty Vidler from Carnival Chaos commented: “The crew who worked with us were fab. All of them on time, polite, well dressed and so helpful. We would not hesitate to have any of them out on-site with us again.”
Diamond Event Services has now introduced an On Time and In Full (OTIF) scheme which means each crew member is evaluated on the basis of the feedback they receive on site. The aim is to complete 100% of our jobs on time, in full and with total client satisfaction. For more information on our OTIF policy, please contact Annie Diamond on annie@diamondeventservices.com
Earlier this month, four members of Diamond Crew were integral to the success of the famous Hindu festival which drew nearly 2000 spectators to Carlton Hill in Edinburgh.
Tasked with erecting three 25 foot high effigies – representing the evil king Ravana and his two henchmen – Diamond Crew assembled each figure on the ground before carefully raising them into position using guide ropes and steel wires. The organisers then set the effigies alight as hundreds of fireworks were set off into the sky.
Paul Diamond, co-founder of Diamond Event Services, said: “All our crew are trained in the Safety Passport which means we are aware of the dangers and hazards that we might face during an outdoor event of this type. This training gives our clients additional confidence in our ability to deliver effectively, safely and efficiently on site.”
On 4th September, we were delighted to receive the awards for Best Event Services Company and the Event Services Grand Prix at the first Scottish Event Awards.
Lynda Forrest from organisers, The Drum magazine, said: "Diamond Event Services was awarded the Grand Prix for excellent service, a clearly defined product but willingness to fulfill client requests beyond initial briefs."
We would like to thank our clients who continue to use our services and all our fantastic crew members for their hard work, dedication and support over the last five years. We would also like to thank the companies who supported our award entry with testimonials - we owe you a drink!
